Part of feeling great is radiating wellness. Many people are now actively investing in fitness programs and personal cosmetics because of this. The main concern however is from people moaning about big stretch marks. According to a recent scientific survey, the most popular problem from females was stretch marks. The majority of women, over 90 percent suffer from stretch marks after giving birth, and over 70 percent of women have suffered since their puberty.

How do the stretch marks actually arise in the first place? Stretch marks occur when the subcutaneous tissue beneath the skin breaks apart due to rapid 'stretching', which often happens when there is a sudden increase in weight, like during pregnancy. Stretch marks are not dangerous from a medical perspective, but they are more of a cosmetic complex with many people becoming highly self conscious. Fortunately, there are a number of stretch mark creams, lotions, massages and therapies available that you can use to make them rapidly decrease in intensity. The key thing we want to know though is do these products really work in decreasing stretch mark visibility?

Our first starting point is understanding why stretch marks are caused in the beginning. Stretch marks are are the consequence of fibres beneath our skin breaking. These fibres, once broken, are unable to reheal, leaving you with stretch marks for life. By applying a decent stretch mark product you can succeed in lowering the color tone of stretch marks, thus reducing their visibility. What stretch mark products actually do is fade the stretch marks, making them invisible to the eye, rather than clearing the stretch marks completely. For the majority, this is a good solution in making their stretch marks invisible, thus improving their self esteem.

Chemical peeling, intense pulsed light, creams, laser therapy and mesotherapy are minimally invasive solutions that you can use to reduce stretch marks. These treatments will significantly reduce the appearance of stretch marks by fading them, making them less clear to the eye, however, they wont remove them permanently. These non-invasive treatments will reduce the notice ability of your stretch marks and cause them to quickly reduce in color. The idea of these treatments is to reduce the visibility of stretch marks quickly, but not to permanently clear them.

Although it's not possible permanently remove stretch marks, you can make a significant impact in getting rid of stretch marks by making them significantly less visible by purchasing a stretch mark product with a good reputation, doing your self confidence wonders.
